Background
Former Chairman of France Invest, the French association of growth and private equity investors, he has devoted most of his career to the asset class, notably at Argos Fund, which he founded and led, and where he now serves as Senior Advisor.

Gilles Mougenot is a business angel and sits on the investment committees of CDG Invest Growth and TELOS Impact. He speaks regularly on corporate financing, reindustrialization, and Europe’s place in global private equity.

He wrote Tout savoir sur le Capital Investissement, a French reference work whose 7th edition was published in 2025 — largely updated and expanded to keep pace with a fast-moving subject.
